Our Mission.
A-C-T Environmental & Infrastructure is a progressive environmental solutions firm that fulfills the environmental regulatory compliance needs of our clients; exceeding their expectations of service, quality, and value, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and service. Since 1987
Our History.
A-C-T’s strong, conservative history of consistent growth began with its 1987 incorporation as a professional engineering and compliance firm in Lakeland, Florida.
Originally called American Compliance Technologies, Inc., A-C-T began as a small, family-owned contractor. To further encompass the growth of consulting and contracting services offered, in 2012 A-C-T expanded their brand with a DBA status, and became commonly known as A-C-T Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.
In 1995, A-C-T moved its corporate office to Bartow and proceeded to develop into a true “full-service” infrastructure & environmental firm employing multi-disciplined professionals, field operations crews, and support personnel.
Since then, A-C-T’s corporate complex has expanded to more than three times its original size. In 2007, A-C-T designed, built, and moved into a 10,000 square foot tilt-up office building. Environmentally green and built to withstand the 150-mph winds of a Category 5 hurricane, the whole-building emergency generator, satellite phone system, laminated glass, enhanced ventilation system, and steel decked roof ensure the security of our personnel, records, and clients’ interests.
Today, the 8-acre, corporate campus houses a multitude of operations including professional consulting services, teams of engineers, scientists, and technical staff; classroom and hands-on training facilities; a wastewater treatment plant; non-hazardous solid waste bulking facility; non-hazardous wastewater treatment facility; equipment storage and maintenance; and equipment fabrication.
The central location ensures our project teams and satellite offices can easily access the full scope of corporate assets and resources.
A-C-T has strategically grown to provide technical expertise and is now a multi-disciplined, “full-service,” professional contracting firm. With a growing roster of employees strategically located throughout the state of Florida, we have the capability to respond nationwide.
